Some people believe that stripers are the easiest fish to catch. So you look for where the gulls and grebes are hanging over the water and that’s where your stripers will be.
Most feeding will occur somewhere near the middle of the day and if it’s bright sunshine so much the better. This will stimulate the stripers to bite all the more. They can be found over a wide area and aren’t too fussy about what they eat, so you are likely to catch them on anything from earthworms to special bass bait. They aren’t worried about a little bad weather either. Bream can be caught from either the bank or a boat, with any angling gear you might care to try, be it the most expensive or the cheapest, so you can see why they are considered great for beginners.
